My last kit for a while must get down the allotment!! Kit is the Platinium Plated 7mm Fancy Pen from The Turners Workshop, wood is Yew sanded to 400 then CA/BLO about 5 coates then two Ren Wax :D but still learning :roll:

Top is a Retro made from stonite onyx, bottom is a Americana Ink Ball made in stonite cobalt blue, kits from The Turners Workshop (who will be the first to try his new kit £79.99!!!!) Both finished with MM then two Brasso, two Ren Wax. How do you price your work? :roll: :D

Can any one give me a link to instructions for the Americana ink-ball pen kit and the Retro style pen kit, save my :oops: to go back to Vince at The Turners Workshop? :wink: :roll: Many Thanks Thomasb (John really).

Dull old day so up the shed to finish this small box, wood is unknown, but had some fun :roll: :wink: :D

Box is 4"x 2" wood is Zebrano, finished with two sanding sealer two friction polish. Need to get the inside bottom right!! how do you sand the bottom which is only 1 1/2" round?? :roll: :)

Anyone done a craft fair? What are the pros and cons, how do you start?

Thanks to Stevebuk, just finished these two kits from Vincent, he sent me a free blank, also the bushings I ordered for the key ring came in three parts, Vincent said they will also fit the Classics & Americana kits , good saleman!!!! :roll: :wink:

Paper weight is Jarrah Burr, small pot wood unknown, the bottle stopper has a 10p coin in the top, must have read it in a mag sometime !!! :D :roll:

Letter opener wood is "Sonokeling" key ring is "Acrylester" all finished with MM, wood is friction polish/ren wax, acrylester just ren wax. is this the right way to go any suggestions? :roll: :D

Hi all felt better today so to the shed to finish a pen. Tuned it down on the mandrel finished it off went to take blanks off the mandrel OH DEAR STUCK, twisted and turned did get one off, but the other one had to twist off with a pair of pliers, I did not use CA glue. Any ideas how this...

Hi all first try with a crushed velvet and satin gold slimline pen kit from Stiles & Bates. Rounded the edges on the belt sander first, roughing gouge, then spindle master, need to clear the shavings a lot!! :roll: wet sanded with Micro-Mesh 1500-12000 finished with two coats of Brasso, then...
