Hi Tom.

Keeping busy I see, good way to use up your small pieces of timber. Like the idea of the coin/bottle stop. I have been using coins like that for a couple of years now but what I did was buy job lot of pre-decimal coinage from ebay and used those. When folks look through them they often try and find their birth year on the coin. Good sales gimmick.

Looks good

That's given me an idea actually. How can you get a coin which is printed with the current year? Just pot luck? I might mark my Wedding Gift to missus-to-be with a coin.

Thanks Nick, but I'd want 2009 as that's the year of our wedding.

It'd be nice to have a small coin like a 1p or £1 but if I don't find one in my loose change, I'll use the Royal Mint's 2009 £2 coin.
