Dull old day so up the shed to finish this small box, wood is unknown, but had some fun   :D

Tend to go along with Andrew's Ash as the most likely.
Simple " Xmas Pud" form works well.

oh I like that. May I ask what chuck you use?

Hi Wizer, I have the "Masterchuck" from Peter Child, its ok, but someday I will upgrade to a "Patriot", then I will not have to tighten up with a C spanner and tommy bar!!!

Ah ye the Patriot is on my list. I think it's between that and the Versa

Thanks

Since I got hold of a oneway talon I have serious doubts about the supanova / patriot(both basically the same chuck. Though no doubt they are good chucks, the holding ability of the Oneway is far superior and surprisingly leaves little or no marks. The basic jaws that come with it are also deper allowing for more adaptability for off centre turning. If I had to buy another chuck it would be the oneway.

Tom,

Lovely form and finish.

I've still not managed to get a lidded pot off in one piece yet...!
(or should that be two pieces...)
