Some times a tool can not be saved.#
So it may be broken for spares or some times we have fun at Men n Sheds.

This plane had no markings, it was dull and plane.

Even if it had bits missing, still likely to be worthy of putting back to use,and valued as such,
not to mention not that common on the ground either.
Ner used one of those, but it's clear to see why some folk like'em, great for hogging off material rapidly compared to anything else really, (by hand that is)

agree although only used a rebate plane so far. i have been using the record 78 quite a bit using a marking wheel or caliper to check the depth to make up some framed plywood cabinets
