Hi all this is my first try at Polygem, a bit scary to start with, rounded off the corners, then roughing gouge, micro spindlemaster, got some good clean cut with this tool, the centre band was a bit cut and check, cut and check!!! sanded 320,400, then micro mesh to 12000, cleaned with a tack cloth, finished with two coats of liquid Brasso.
Is this the right way to go?? (need to do the date on camera!!)
:D  [/img]

More or less what I do. Only go down to about P600 then use Autosol shine. But if you like the way you finnish the pen use it. Nothing wrong with that.

Hi Greggy, no I used it dry, would I get a better finish
if I used it wet? I know you can wash micro mesh have
not tryed that yet, which is the best way to do that?
Sorry for all the ?? trying to learn the right way to do things!!
Thomas (John really  )

hiya john, sorry (about that) yes you are better off using mmesh wet on poly/acrylics, 1 it keeps what bit of dust there is, 2 your mmesh lasts a lot longer, 3 the finish will be better. any Qs just give a shout.
