I am going to be rough cutting a lot of oak veneer to laminate onto a few wreath handrails, what have you used?

I'm thinking a mini circular saw as shown in a lot of video's?

What thickness veneer are you cutting .6mm or thicker constructional 2-3mm, and how many pieces?

Peter thanks for replying, the veneers will be about 2mm, to make up about 12mm total thickness, and about 100 piece's, due to finger/hand problems manual cutting is not an option.

You could cut them to width on the bandsaw with a 10 tip or over blade, I would put an MDF false table under the veneer. You could cut them separately or in packs.

I usually cut constructional veneers to width on the table saw again with an MDF base board and a feather board over the top to keep the veneer held down to stop chatter and shatter.

The bandsaw with a backing is a good idea, especially in packs, the table saw isn't an option due to the shape, the most difficult being the U shape veneer on a 180 deg wreath with a tight radius, thanks for your input will definitely give that a go.
