I went to view a lathe this morning in the hope of replacing my Record lathe.
The lady was unable to give clear details over the phone so I had to visit.
Unfortunately it was of no use to me but thought it might be to some of the old machinery collectors.
I said that I would mention it on here.
It was an old Picador lathe.
3 speed,
The bed was about 6ft long.
Had a 'Made in West Germany' sticker on it.
Comes with various accessories.
Appears to be a 1" 8tpi headstock(measurement/guess by eye)
With a 2mt tailstock(again, an educated guess)
I only post this because there maybe someone out there who needs parts or likes to collect old machinery.
I have a picture I can upload if anyone is interested.
