One of my first big projects since I got my workshop together. I have made some shelves + brackets but nothing 'proper' until this point. I have made another smaller table when I was working in my 8' x 6' shed (I can't really remember how I did that now).

Nothing too fancy, although it did mortise and tenon the frame. Joining the boards on was much more challenging than I thought it was going to be as getting flat edges was really hard on my relatively small planer thicknesser. I guess I need to invest in a hand jointer planer at some point.

The purpose of this is as a large sewing table for the wife. It is has just been oiled and waxed.

Thanks for looking. Next up 2 bed side cabinets.

It is only pine

A friend of mine has a custom kitchen making business. He gave me what were to him offcuts but for me quite useful. The only problem is now that I have had a play with some oak it is pretty hard to go back to using pine again.
