Mitre saw upgrades

Hi everyone, looking to beef up my mitre station! Budget is anywhere up to 300ish and here are my current thoughts:

Axi are currently selling the 10" hobby sms for 150!

I also like the Bosch gcm10s (350) which sounds like it might stand the test of time - as this saw may occasionally see some site use, but will mostly be in a wee workshop

I'd love to hear everyone's experiences and opinions and a decision shall be made tomorrow!

I've had a Makita LS1018 for a few years now and would heartily recommend it. Great bit of kit apart from the laser (which is gimmicky and pants - I don't know anyone who uses a laser on a SCMS for precision work). Available for around your budget too.

Metabo 254 did (does) it for me...after many months of looking an eliminating for one reason or another. (Also light enough to carry....).

I've had a good 'play' with it and have to say, I'm pretty impressed. At my current experience and skill level this should nlast me a few years
