    Here is wonderful seat in Mullion Cove in Crnwall that loks like it is made of old wooden boat with oars for the arm rests. It has a wonderful Cornish eccentricity and charm about it.

    Wooden scales

    Here is some old turned wooden scales at the Ceredigeon Museum at Aberystwith in Wales. You can see some butter prints in the background as well and an old bowl. It is a great museum in an old variety theatre and and there is some amazing wood items including bardic chairs and an old wassail bowl.

    3 rustic bowls

    Here is 3 small rustic bowls made from Rhododendron branchwood using only a spindle gouge. Rhodo is a superb turning wood and the shavings come off in ribbons making it excellent for demonstrating. The wood is fairly bland but is ideal for colouring or doing pyrography on.

    10 Christmas trees

    Here is 10 Christmas trees made from sycamore using a skew, spindle and parting tool, approx 7cm high, coloured with food dye and take around 2 minutes each to make. They are quite fun things to make and demonstrate on the Chrismas markets and as you can see the wood takes the colour very well.
