This is a picture I took from my workshop as the sun was setting and the the sky is quite an amazing colour and is just as I took it without any manipulation.

Nice pic but not the sort of sky I liked to see when I was a fireman 
We used to say,
"Red sky at night, its well alight,
Red sky in morning, the bugga's still burning".

Yes lovely picture.
To gnu if you would send me a high pixel copy email I would be delighted, I would use the sky copied on to other photographs for painting in my collection.

I'm not an Aussie but was a fireman for 24 years in Northumberland and in that time I responded to a few forest fires not on the scale of Australian or Californian fires but big enough, I am now retired but still remember the good? old days. \/
