Here is 4 burr oak eggs around 6cm long. Very satisfying objects to make and a good test for the skew.

Do you give your chickens oak woodshavings to sleep on??

Mine get pine and the stupid things keep giving me eggs that break as soon as you drop them or anything. Maybe if I give them hardwood to lie on?

I measured one of our eggs and it was eggsactly 6cm long.
