Fir mushroom

Here is a fir mushroom made from a bit of branchwood from the local forest. It is about 10cm high and took around 2 minutes to make with a spindle gouge and skew and is quite a skill to knock them out at pace to put them on the market competitively. As you can see it is a very interesting rustic piece of wood which gives the mushroom a more natural and organic essence.

Forgive my beginners ignorance, but was it dried, or was it green. If it was green, will it warp and twist as it dries?
