Is there anyway I can stay logged in permanently? I have no problem on other forums I frequent, but on here, if I disappear for 15 mins I have to log in again, most annoying, or am I doing something wrong? Rich.

Well folks, listening to the news the NHS has come up with plans for a new class of wheelchair, look to your local hospitals tips/rubbish dumps in the coming weeks as there will be a lot of wheelchairs being discarded with each having 4 braked wheels, the same thing happened about 8 years ago...

    Mumbai.

I am saddened to see what's going on in India at the moment, it must be horrendous for those in the vicinity, however, I am at the same time sad to see what is happening to such a lovely building as the Taj palace, I have never been to India and did not realise that such lovely architecture was...

Is it me that's out of touch?.

Tonight over dinner we were discussing the nativity, my eldest (17) and the youngest(13) were unaware of who king Herod was, when I asked what they were being taught in RE, the youngest said that they were being taught about euthenasia  what this has to do with religous education is...

    Remembering.

Once again , I had the priviledge of watching the rememberance festival at the RAH. (on the tv) The hymns were beautiful and touching, the pageantry was a joy to behold and as usual I shed a tear, it is comforting to know that while we are safely tucked up at night, we have the finest military...

    M27.

Listening to the BBC news at ten, I learn that the reason for widening the M27 and installing overhead gantries at spur joining lanes is to offer motorists the opportunity when joining a slow moving traffic queue to use that hard shoulder and join fast moving traffic and also be automatically...

    Comedians

I can't understand how Jonathan Ross or Russel Brand are described as comedians, they have NEVER made me laugh in the same vain as, say, the two Ronnies or Tommy Cooper, I find their "humour" to be both cynical and sarcastic, is it just me? or do others actually find them funny, for the amount...

    GURKHAS

I can't believe that no one else has signed up to Gregs invitation to support the Gurkhas who have laid their lives on the line for this country and yet we are content to let immigrants in from the Indian and African continents when these people have not paid a penny in taxes, we support them...

    Sailing

At the risk of being branded a "killjoy" I have to say I can't believe my ears, Hull NHS have announced that they are prepared to purchase a yacht in order to train youngsters into becoming rounded citizens  apparently, this will get wayward youngsters off the street and teach them how...
