Had a mad moment OK when don't I. Thought I would do the simplest form of segmented work ie: Glue odd bits together as I found them with the help of a planer.
Another bottle stopper and a corkscrew. I needed something for the stoppers to sit in so I also made the stand in the photo.

Keeps the flies out of the bottle between topping up the glass while sipping in the garden. Not needed if you drink straight from the bottle and keep your thumb on top between swigs. (homer)

Nice set but I don't have the arms to pull the cork without flailing around when it pops and looking foolish.
