havnt used my maths for some time
how do you calculate cubic mm into cubic meters then cost it
ie 50mm x 50mm x 500mm is 1250000 cubic mm then what for eq timber @
£100 per cubic meter i want to be able to do this on paper so i dont have to keep on getting the computer out but all i can find is calculators that do it for you

There is 1,000mm in a m, so there is 1,000x1,000x1,000mm3 in a m3

Just move the decimal point to the left nine times.

your 1250000mm3 becomes 0.00125 m3

0.05 x 0.05 x 0.5 x £100 = £0.125
