Can anyone assist with a carving query

A close elderly neighbour of mine (and friend) asked me if I could carve a small door sign/plaque for her. I assume because she knows I do woodworking as a hobby the particular skill & craft of woodcarving was right down my street. Unfortunately it is not.

She is a fan of the disney character Bambi and asked if I was able to carve a small door plaque with door number and an image of Bambi on it for her. Way beyond my realm or expertise I'm afraid but I was hoping someone on the forum could point me in the right direction. I know a lot of guys/gals do this sort of thing as a hobby and as such may be willing to take on this small commission?

If you know of anyone I would appreciate your assistance. i would not expect this to be done for nothing, I just feel that she having helped me out so many times in the past is due a return favour. If this interests anyone then donations/beer tokens of your asking are provided.

Hi,
You say carving, but it sounds more like scroll saw work to me. I would try asking on the scroll saw forum, I think that may be your best chance of finding someone to do it. Do you have a drawing / picture of the type of thing you would like making?
