Anyone have a Secret & Marriot bobbin sander?

Hi, I have acquired a Secret & Marriot bobbin sander (but no manual) which works fine but I need to change the bobbin spindle and it's not obvious how to do. There is a long allen key type thing which I assumed would slot down the spindle and undo it but it doesn't lock into anything (poss 'thread' has been rounded off?) and the bottom of the spindle doesn't seem to have a nut fitting to clamp a wrench on to help undo. Does anyone have any suggestions or even a manual? Thanks.

Can't find any reference at all, just a Luthier bought one in 2006, for his guitar work.

Thanks, yes that has been the only info I can find too! It's quite a well made machine, shame they no longer make them.
