I would like to tap into the collective forum knowledge regarding warm comfortable work clothing.

Up to now I have been wearing Levi jeans with polo shirt covered by the regulation boiler suit favoured by everyone from farmers to mechanics.

I mostly work in "the shop" on my own, but quite often have to go out on site.

I would like to improve the public image a bit if possible.

A fitted boiler suit I suppose is possible but then "one" probably couldn't move much.

A boiler suit is very handy cause you just whip it off and you have nice clean clothes underneath.

Any ways I am open to suggestions.

I use Le-brador /la-brador work trousers http://www.lbrador.com/en/index.html

, the ones I use are £50 a go but they will last a couple of years if you dont smear them in silicone . Very good material which doesnt tear if snagged . I use the black ones with orange stitching . They have good quality , heavy duty material over the knee area and I am yet to kill the trousers through day to day use . More of a case of melting a leg on a silencer on the bike or starting to look tatty after a year or so . Followed by custom logo Polo Shirts , and hoodies for the winter . 2 hoodies , 5 polo shirts printed £120 . It certainly changes your appearance and if you work with some one it brings the team together , especially labourers , sort of more official .

cheers Dusty
