Was asked via facebook if I could make for the customer their family name similar to the Kev Bishops Kitchen one I did.

I said "Yes" with mad keenness, then was asked if it could be wider, "Yes" I said, how much, "about 70cm wide please"
Eeeeekkk, " Er let me get back to you "

So some research and eventually finding a piece of Oak 70cm wide wasn't the issue, but getting it 21/5cm in height seemed more difficult, anyhow after much communication, here it is thus far, have lots of little snag work to be done before it finished and sent to them...

Been hard work this one. PS sorry about the image and that bottle is now open and being consumed.

Looks great! and the booze was well earned :cool: Just don't try cutting straight lines after drinking it lol
 
Here are a few pics of the plaque being made and also it finished.

Customer received it today and are very happy with it.

That's top quality work Trevor. You get such a good finish I have no doubt they were pleased. Would love to come over and watch you actually working on something like this.
