That sounds like the best result possible (as it's about the easiest thing to change!).

Have you aligned your fence for the drift on this particular blade though? If you haven't then you'll be fighting it, and I guess probably overloading one side of the teeth (i.e. you may have problems again soon).

Always check a new blade after installing. I've never rechecked an installed blade - I guess it might change, but hopefully not enough to matter (i.e. if it's changed a lot it's because the blade is worn and just needs replacing).

TBH If you were doing an 11" deep resaw and there was a lot of drift (i.e. your fence was a long way out) you would have noticed it was hard going.
