"Soft start" mitre saws...

...not sure if there are many out there...I have the Bosch GTS X10 saw bench with this and I like it..
anyone got an SCMS with this facility?

I saw recently Bosch has released a new mitre saw, which also has soft start

I thought people weren't a fan of it as it slowed things down? Might only be a few seconds, but a few seconds on 100's of cuts makes a difference.
