Record power chuck shortages

I recently updated my lathe from an Axminster AWVSL1000 (fairly long bed) to a Record Coronet which is very similar in size to the AT350.

Fortunately my Record came wih an SC4, (seems good to me) but my other chuck - SC3 - had a 1" thread. I bought an adaptor but this makes a significant reduction size between centres.

Just a warning really, not that the capacity reduction is necessarily a problem with exerts, but they do have consequences.

SC4 is back in stock at Yandles for my size of M33 x 3.5 - I have put my order in : )

I bought one of those adaptors....m33 to 3/4 16..... I have got the 3” Rutland chuck...if your chuck is wobbly....use some pace tape and then put chuck on.
Overhang is no problem...

I sold the old chuck and returned the adaptor to Yandles, I am very happy with my new toy (SC4) : )
