Hi all and apologies for what could probably be a stupid question.
Table saw with dust outlet od 100 mm, cyclone with inlet od 55 mm.
What will be more effective:
* reducer at the table saw and use an id 63 mm flex hose? or
* use a wider flex hose and reducer at the cyclone?

will i be limited due to ducting diameters or reducers availability?

Any advice will be appreciated?

Regards
Marcos

I seem to be the first to stumble along and imho it matters nought.

I would suggest a cyclone, though more expensive, with a 100 mm in/out take.

Wider hose has less resistance but either way your cyclone probably won't move enough volume for a table saw.

When I started out, I used a shop vac with the adapter at the table saw end. I also had a small cyclone attached in between and it worked perfectly with the dust from a table saw.
