Thank you: they are great fun to do, using pretty much what is to hand and forever fiddling to get them right .......hopefully.

Pete, you may consider them experiments , and I can see them in that light as a means of you exploring new ideas but the resultant forms and finish would appear to be far from that as far as any viewer of the finished article is concerned.
 
Thank you Chas,. They are part of a series I am doing at the moment using all sorts of different things within the turnings. The experiment is in fiddling with different combinations and materials trying to see what works and what doesn't.

I do like the first and third photo's, I can imagine them sitting on my sideboard. :wink:

You didn't have lessons with Mark Sanger by any chance did you?
 
Thanks guys. No lessons from mark though we have chatted. We both have the same interest in eastern art work though he is way ahead of me in the skill and knowledge factors.
Feel free to copy, nothing is new, just variations on a theme.
