Meranti or brazillian mahogany cill, 7X3

Can anyone tell me how much a meter of 7"x 3" meranti, Brazillian, or similar will cost please?
I have to replace a door frame cill.

You can't get fresh Brazilian Mahogany anymore, it's CITES listed, and you'd have to be very lucky to find 75mm thick stock as salvage. Even the Honduran stuff is slipping in quality, getting paler and less dense every year.

Meranti or Utile is your best bet, it would cost you about £25 but you'd probably have to buy more than a metre as a minimum order.

Find a local double glazing widows company and ask if you can look in their skip.
I get most of my timber that way.
obviously you might have to wait until what you want turns up.
