hi Johnboy,
I bought this sellers copy of '' make your own handcrafted
doors and windows''. He's certainly having a clearout!

oooh John,
Thanks for the comment, the seat itself came from a plan from
''something workbench'',more or less. The hanging frame was just a cobbling from other images of porch swings.

Hi Tx, I liked it as I had never seen a swing bench like that. All the ones you see are usually hung from a roof or on a high frame. Does it swing Ok and is comfortable? For anyone wondering what I am talking about look in the gallery.

John

ps I have bought a couple of woodturning scapers from this seller.

Hi TX,

Yes I like the fact it stands on the floor. Not needing a high frame is a good feature.

DaveL, Johnboy,
Yes,it is surprisingly comfy as i wasn't 100% sure with
my angles.(Quite a few refeshments already partaken 8) ).
It doesn't swing as much as a traditional garden swing, probably 6'' or so.It's more along the glider lines.
There are quite a few images of these US porch/garden swing/rockers to be found on plan sites, mainly US.
Sorry i can't remember exactly, i just surfed! 8)

btw DaveL, i did post a reply comment in the gallery
