I have a Incra Mitre 1000 which apart from the mounting holes etc., the bar has a threaded hole at the end which is not exactly vertical.
There is also a "D" shape rescess at the far end of the bar with a threaded hole in the recess.

Can anyone tell me what the recess is for. #-o (hammer)

It's where you screw the T clip that you would have received in one of the small plastic bags included with the gauge. This fits into the T slot that some table saws have. If you saw doesn't then you do not need to use it

I presume this is what you mean

Ignore that this is a picture of the 1000SE, the very end of the bar (and the V27) are the same.

Many Thanks Mike.
I don't think I got one with mine when I bought it in the US.
I'll check and see.

Cheers.

Even so you still should have got one, but if not, contact Incra direct and they will certainly supply you with one.
