Having met Mailee's family and realised there are people around here with serious router cravings, I got to thinking about the contents of all the plastic boxes on my shelves and how many power and cordless tools I actually have. One quick tot up later and I come to:

Routers (4), Biscuit jointer, Jigsaw, Circular saw, Electric planer, Screwdriver, Drill/driver, Combi/driver (2), Mains hammer drill, Mains SDS+ drill, Wall chaser, ROS, Orbital sander, Delta sander, 3" belt sander, Dremel, Electric chisel/carver, Heatgun, 9" Angle grinder, 4 1/2" angle grinder

Now, I knew I had a few but I'd never have said I had 24!!  Hope SWMBO never finds that out!! 8-[

How many have you lot got then?

Is this the British definition of a power tool (hand held) or the 'Murrican one (every darn thing with a plug)?

Well I thought it meant portable power tools.

But I really think we should have a poll for planes and chisels

Dom

Elu biscuit jointer
Elu MOF96 router
DeWalt 625 router
Elu jigsaw
Elu 180mm circular saw
Elu orbital sander
Elu bench grinder (don't use it much because it's easy to burn blades)
3 cheapo electric drills, corded (one in Record drill stand)
Kango SDS drill

A rather modest 11 in all - must try harder

Cheers

Paul

I don't think the database will cope with all the information - it'll be too much for it to handle :p

I think I am also in Dom's camp as I use mine for a living too

I was thinking that if I did start counting :-k
7 or is it 8 routers
4 circular saw

I am stopping there

I forgot the biscuit jointer and the circular saw. And the angle grinder (but that's HI's) as are the scrollsaws and some of the drills.

As we are currently going through a period of load-shedding with the power out for 6 - 12 hours in every 24, I'm relieved that I have a reasonable selection of hand tools to choose from too!
