I lived in London and couldn't wait to get away to somewhere of a more human scale. Tried Suffolk first and now rural France. They (whoever they are) can keep the big city and concrete, give me fresh air, green fields, friendly neighbours along with the occasional inspirational work of man any day.

Sorry, Russell, we seem to have nicked your thread. However, it shows that there is stuff out there to inspire and take us 'out of ourselves' :D

I hope the last exchanges don't read as if we just think depression is feeling a bit down. We are well aware that its far more than that and appreciate the step you have taken in airing the subject.
