Hi Gang, all the best for the new year to everyone.

Can anyone tell me if the quick leaver that Mike at F/D supplies for the Hegner will also fit the Axminster, I know the Axminster is a clone of the Hegner and most bits are interchangable but just want to be sure before placing an order. thanks in advance,

Hi Geoff no the quick leaver will not fit standard awfs blade holders.
It will fit hegnar quick fit blade holder.
You must buy hegnar quick clamp brilliant.
Its not just a standard clamp there is much more to it than it looks.
It also help you place your blades in the clamp you can then use mikes quick lever in it.
Both hegner knob and Quick leaver are good i Have Both.

Hi Geoff,

I have been onto the hegnar site and there seems to be a variety of clamps. Is it the quick release clamp at £17.57 that I buy and then get Mikes quick clamp?

Try it with out first on its own knob and save some money.

It looks to me that there is a misunderstanding about the quick lever I sell.
The quick lever will replace the round knob on the Hegner saw.
It has nothing to with the clamps.

Thanks for coming on Mike M. How much would it cost to buy and deliver a "Hegner " QR clamp to the uk? I found your website, I presume that the handle fits the standard Hegner blade holders?
