Hey All

Pls see video attached. Does anyone else have this problem? Should I use wax to
Stop this?

Your rings are rather too small for the pole size, but apply silicone lubricant and it will make a considerable difference. Spray can from the likes of Screwfix. Avoid waxes and furniture polish as they collect the dust and make thing worse in the long term!
 
One of those litter picker handles so that you can pull the curtain from the top.
 
As above, a thinner metal pole.

You al;so need to change your drawing/opening technique. In that you lift the curtain slightly to take the weight of the curtains off the pole.

Next....Tie backs.....
 
This has been really useful. My wife was talking about getting replacement curtains for a bedroom of that kind. I’ve just shown her the video and we are keeping the ones we have got!!! 😃
 
certainly need smaller diameter pole, regardless of whatever you may do to make the curtain open/close more fluid.
