Made the old-fashioned way, with power tools.
The choice of materials, overall look and dimensions were given by the client.
The 'details' she left for me to sort out.

Thanks for sharing such an original and interesting project. How many hours did it take excluding the finishing?

That's a good question. I wasn't pressed for time, so I did it over the course of ~ 3 weeks. I mostly did other things in this
period. The coat hanger took the most time to make. A bit of a surprise.

I remember seeing a similar thing to this in my dad's Popular Mechanic magazine probably back in the 1960s. I never understood the need.......you just chuck your clothes on the bedroom floor, don't you?! Anyway, that's a nice fun project that looks like it turned out really well. Thanks for posting it.

( Also : Not here, though. The tails were all done on a router. The chisel and
whatsit are just props. made me giggle too).

Very appealing design, timber choice, and execution
Has some Scandinavian workbench hints, are they for practical reasons?
(the rails on top like the Klausz workbench)

I'm not sure, really. The lady saw some pictures on the internet she liked,
so that's why it turned out that way.
True, it does have similarities with the workbench.
