That is a good basic design, solving the issue of lead in very well. I use the same principle on mine. What that one lacks at the mo (and it would be very easy to modify) is any way of dealing with drift. The whole unit must be able to be adjusted to and fro to accommodate drift, or you will likely be sawing spirals rather than circles.

Or, on the Table saw using "Half sled"...i.e. a sled with one runner on one side of the blade (no fence needed) so, the Riving knife
and the crown guard can be used...
