Breaking the bond

As part of a tool storage set-up I've araldited a rare earth magnet (brittle) to a mild steel bar. Unfortunately, the polarity is wrong and I need to break the bond and redo. Any ideas?

Heat, I believe.

Try cellulose thinners or acetone. may need to put it in a sealed container or plastic bag to allow fumes to work without evaporating away.

You could try nail polish remover, it removed most things.

I would say heat too as it is what I have used before
