RAL3000 - 3033 are the reds in the standard range.

Jaydee - don't start a new thread, just ask Axminster.

PS -I'm with Terry - Pantone is for the poncy graphic designers, and is about printing. RAL is for the poncy product stylists and is for painting things. Engineers only paint things which need protecting or identifying, and they DGAS what colour is used.

"Fire Engine Red" (and what is known here as "Swissair Red") is RAL 3000. Part of the 3000 to I think 3030 RAL range of reds. And before you ask, RAL is used almost exclusively over here in "semi Euro-land", and same too in Germany, plus probably other EU countries too.

"Standardisation" don't cha know!

It's always funny to see a bumped old discussion - and just incase anyone asks 10 years in the future

Laguna grey is 'Dark Grey Pearl' : RAL 9023

Hope this helps all woodworkers in 2032 with any older or 2nd hand Laguna machines needing a touch up - Don't ask me again haha ;)

Cheers,
Nick
