This is something a little different.

I'm doing a long-term project and in order for the next part to fit in I need to find a timber with a name that's 12 letters.

Can anyone think of one?

I'm trying not to push the name definition with appending "tree" or "wood" unless you'd normally call it that, like lacewood is ok, but wenge wood is stretching it

think "tree" is needed with this one for normal usage.

Thanks for all the suggestions

These 2 especially are the spirit of what I'm going for. Now I have to see if I can find some!

This one kills me. Something much easier to find, but it's 13 characters

My mate calls it Orse Chestnut. He would probably sell you a bit if it helps.
