    Ply T

Is it me or does anyone else have problems getting consistent thickness ply wood? I usually use 6mm for drawer bottoms rebated into the drawer sides and front. Ice sheet returns

I see scientists have established that the ice sheet over the arctic has returned after the cold winter to 80's levels. Could this spark a new tax to stop Global Cooling? Did Jack Bauer have anything to do with it, or was it the Russians?

Have we lost the plot as far as tollerances are concerned?

After reading various posts I think we should talk about what we ar trying to achieve with this wondrous material called wood. We are being encouraged to buy machinery that claim to enable us to achieve lower and lower dimensional tolerances. We have read about digital read outs that can be...

    I am US at finishing

When I got my recent project cutting list together and visited my timber supplier I started sorting through his stock. frame / panel design

When designing a chest of drawers i see most of the US sites show the front frames machined into the panel sides using dovetail cutters, and dovetailing joints cut by router. This leaves the visable dovetail joint when the part is finished. Apart from using small stub tennons what other ways do...
