hi all looking for some input about buying a chuck for my ml 8 - I have an incomplete crafty supplies precision master chuck, so spares seem impossible to find and so I'm looking at the supanova g3, nova 2 & the viper 3 or 2 - my main needs are I suppose for bowls, platters, goblets and all the usual - I'm a relative novice so I would like to get something all round and versatile which will last - obviously the above is not a final list just what I have happened across in the vast chuck cosmos and seemed reasonably priced and can be added to, so please feel free to recommend something different.
Any help and experience would be greatly appreciated, all the best Shaun

Have you looked at the Versachuck from the Toolpost? It can accept a variety of other manufacturers jaws and can be fitted with a backplate to accommodate most spindle thread sizes.
