Why would you EVER consider taking a shower or bath whilst wearing a watch ???

My watch never leaves my wrist. Why is that so odd?

Why would you EVER consider taking a shower or bath whilst wearing a watch ???

I am originally from an island, so most watches I owned were waterproof to 30 meters.
Beside that, the OP user case is for his wife to have the device always on her, so, no matter when and where, she would be able to call for help in case of need.
