Just be aware that I have had 6 Tuffsaw 1490mm 1/4" & 3/8" blades break, not at the weld & a further one which I bought on behalf of an elderly neighbour suffered the same fate. Ian replaced one of mine & my neighbours free of charge.
I reverted to Axminster for these small blades & had no further problems.
I have had no problems with Tuffsaws 1/4" & 1/2" longer blades.
