Its very difficult to make any suggestions from the description. However, I have bought and done up a number of machines, and I have generally found that its very easy to disassemble the Sedgwick equipment, the manuals are easily available at Daltons WEB site. A clean, grease and re-assemble often fixes everything that is stiff or hard to move. Should take only a couple of hours to do. Depending on the age of the machine Sedgwick will have spares, and equally are very helpful if you give them a call. A true British machine manufacturer that need everyone's support to keep going.
