Does anyone have a Sealey SM 64 bandsaw? Is this a good secondhand machine to buy?
What should I look for when viewing/buying? What is it worth? I would be grateful for any experience and advice, please.

What's yer budget?

Edit: had a wee look on the bay, and nothing popped up,
unless you were near Wales next week.
So apologies for the useless information below, though
it might be worth looking at to see what it goes for,
just to get an idea on what one can get for their money.
i.e about 200 quid.

It's a real good looking saw to me, a 600mm wheeled Meber by the looks of it, yes the motor needs replacement,
though likely not too bothersome, considered it's got a foot mounted motor,
something quite rare indeed, (i.e can actually be set up better than anything new, take something of that ilk like the SCM formula, or any other manufacturer for that matter)
Should those wheels (bores) be sound, it might be a screaming deal for someone local.

List that starter on the bay, an recoup yer losses.
Buy a used dual voltage motor and suitable VFD to run from 240v with the money.
