Looking at the manual - http://www.axminster.co.uk/media/downlo ... manual.pdf - there is no 'quick release' of the blade tension, much the same as a lot of the much cheaper generic saws out there. Pinless blades might be a pain in the rear to change with the sub-standard metals used in the clamps? Seems expensive when there are similar saws for less than half the price of the Proxxon. However, it does have dust extraction but I have no idea if it's effective or not. For the money, I'd go with a 2nd hand Delta or Hegner (check eBay).
