was using my saw when the blade snaped so i thought.
it turned out the tension knob had sheard off.
Managed to repair with resin glue which worked  , but when came to resquare blade found it twisted. and did not line up.
Managed to square table to blade but its about 5 degrees out and it drives my eye sight mad  any suggestions? (hammer)

Many thanks Paul

It sounds like the tension knob has been glued back 5 degrees out of square therefore to compensate for that the table has also been set 5 degrees out of square to keep the blade square. The eye problem sounds as though it might be because the blade is moving in a 5 degree diagonal way instead up a straight up and down.

Unless I've got it wrong?

The only solution I can see is to break the glued joint and re-glue it. Soreee.

From what little information is available and no photos it's a difficult one as Martin said. I think the likely solution is as Bodgerbaz stated in his post. Paul, if you could post a photo it would greatly help us to help you. I can understand how frustrating this problem is and I hope you get it sorted soon.
