Hi,

I'm in the process of replacing the bearings on the cutter block of my HMS 2600ci PT but hit a snag. I've got the bearing off the non drive side with no problem but can't get the drive pulley off to replace the other bearing.

Does anybody have any idea if it's threaded? I've tried the puller but it won't move so I'm thinking it may be left hand thread. The parts diagram doesn't give enough details to whether it's threaded or not.

Thanks in advance

Pete

I’d be surprised if it was threaded onto the shaft
Does it have grub screws? Have you removed them? There may be 2 in the one hole
Perhaps give it a touch of warmth from a blowtorch

Hi Ian,

There are no grub screws. I tried a bit of heat but maybe not enough. I'll give it another go today with some heat and see if I can get it to move.

Cheers

Pete
