Hi

Another question:

Where can I buy a set of rounders? I have seen them mentioned in a few turning books but the nearest I can find is the LeeValley dowel cutters.

I'm looking for sizes 5/8" and 7/8"

Thanks in advance.

Classic Handtools for one. Used to be Ray Iles ones, but whether they still are? Assuming they are, I can vouch for them working a treat. Also Ashem are well spoken of. Or you can make your own, but the geometry can get to be a bit of headache if you don't have a plan to work from.

Thanks for that Alf.

The Ashem ones do look lovely but a bit too dear at the mo. The RI are perfect - lots of sizes too.

Cheers
