Just been putting together my new cl1,all went well until i came to the headstock. looks like its held together with one nut and bolt with a celloc pin from stoping the nut from turning, looks a bit unsafe to me but maybe thats the way it is.Anybody out there know if this is right or not. Thanks

Thats correct, just make sure the lathe is seated on the plate correctly and you have the saddle underneath the right way round. The saddle has a concave and convex side these should be orientated so the convex side is under the side of the base plate with a lug each side and the concave face should be under the side of the mountain plate with a single lug. Hope thats clear.

Problem is Russel the instructions are not clear at all, Ill have another look tommorow and see if I can see what you mean but thanks anway
