hi does anyone no ware i could get a spring for my record vice please its a simple spring steel coil spring 1/4" wid and about 8" in coil length.

Might be worth phoning Axminster Tools, some of their own brand vices are a pretty near copy.

A quill spring from a pillar drill might do if the original spring isn't available as a spare.
