I have inherited an old tarplaner i know they are very rare this one seem to work well and has original box, oil, instructions and sharpening stone for the knives look like it’s hardly been used
Just wondering if anyone has an idea on its value?
I’d like to keep it if it’s not worth a great deal.
Any knowledge would be appreciated.
Will upload photos asap

I had one of those years ago, got it from a scrap dealer on the farm where i had my workshop. Very high quality machines with a gear driven cutter head, The gearbox on the side is intended to have oil in it iirc.
I used it for a job building a long mast for a boat & the machines long length was great for this.
Downside they are heavy & metal cased, Do Not attempt to use it without accessing the motor & switch gear & checking / replacing the wiring, Rubber covered wiring insulation will break down & disintegrate leaving the machine in a lethal condition
As to value its not likely to be high.
